From a passion for Uganda's beauty to a mission of sharing it with the world
Cedar Safaris Tours and Travels was born from a deep love for Uganda's incredible wildlife, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Founded by Moses Kato in 2016, we started with a simple mission: to share the magic of the "Pearl of Africa" with travelers from around the world.
What sets us apart is our authentic local perspective. We're not just tour operators – we're passionate Ugandans who know every trail, every story, and every hidden gem our country has to offer. Our multilingual team speaks English, Russian, and Spanish, ensuring seamless communication with our diverse clientele

Moses Kato
Founder & Lead Guide
With over 15 years of experience in Uganda's tourism industry, Moses founded Cedar Safaris to share his passion for wildlife and culture. He is a licensed tour guide at Level 1 of competence in Ugandan Geography and Animal Identification, and one of the most recognized birders in Uganda.
